It’s time to revisit the drama scenes that stood out this week. Join in as we do a breezy recap of the moments that stayed with us!
1. The Conversation in Doctor Bahu
Saeeda, Zainab and Saniya’s father’s conversation sent out strong messages. From Saeeda stating that it is not always the girl’s responsibility to keep the family together, to apologizing to Zainab for what she said in the past, and making her realize she can put a stop to the cycle of trauma by understanding what her daughter was going through, the change in Zainab felt palpable and so humanizing. Zainab is the character who reflected many women’s tormented life stories and it was a relief to see her reaching out to Sania later and lending her a ‘non-judgemental’ ear.
2. The Kitchen Face-Off
When Rabeeya and Shirin faced off in the kitchen, it was pure catharsis in motion. Finally someone was wising up on Shirin and would keep her in check. Shirin seemed displaced from her usual comfort zone and one could see that Rabeeya is not about to let her get away with anything. Th eearlier interaction with the glass of juice for Sar Buland, followed up by the kitchen has Shirin shook. Now it’s just a matter of time when Rabeeya discovers more and audiences can’t wait.

3. The Lowkey Fruitseller & Beena
Saif Ali Khan’s debut Pakistani drama appearance as your everyday fruit seller was a breath of fresh air. The interaction between Beena and Behraam was so natural and played out without any larger than life gestures or dialogues. It was the normalcy in the conversation that hit audiences as most endearing, leaving us curious to know how this relationship will proceed in upcoming epsiodes.
4. The Police officer Who Plays It On All Sides
Ali Safina as Noah, the police officer who saved Rubab and Mansoor by demanding a bribe, plays it on all sides when he tells Agha Wasif he was there to save the day. His blatant disregard of any semblance of conscience, and ability to exploit any situation to his advantage is quite impressive. The character is negative, yet engages audiences with his cool responses and sharp thinking in every situation. A brief scene yet one that caught our attention.
5. The Villain Who Keeps It Interesting
Shehreen’s rage as Anas broke down Faham’s intentions knew no bounds. Yet the svene in the living room, where Mursaleen asks Anas for his opinion and Shereen instantly claps her hands in dramatic sarcasm, totally nails her character and the pent up frustration and anger in a young girl who is hell bent on marrying a man, ignoring all the visible red flags because she’s too infatuated by his seeming aura.
A very believable scene with all the right touch of drama to keep it interesting – Shehreen’s downfall is near and this conversation served as a window into the future.
6. The Wedding Scene that Hit All the Right Notes
Haroon and Khushbakht’s wedding ceremony was a magical moment in the episode – her pensive, contemplative expressions, matched by his reassuring presence. The background musical score added to the mood and gave us a scene that rated high on aesthetics and emotions, hitting a full 10/10!
