Despite Masooma’s materialistic intentions, you also realize the harsh facts of living a life of poverty reflected or highlighted through her character. At that moment you pay attention and cannot just ignore her mindset.
2. Bilal Abbas Khan as Ibrahim in Mann Jogi
It is so endearing to see Ibrahim’s journey as he becomes more and more confident, but still keeps Aaliya’s happiness as his priority. Bilal Abbas proves he can deliver any character with a sensitivity that adds depth and so many emotions to a character.
3. Sabeena Farooq as Aaliya in Mann Jogi
Sabeena Farooq beautiful portrays the journey Aaliya is going through to discover her true feelings for Ibrahim. Loved how Aaliya confesses her love to Ibrahim giving us all just the moments we all needed to see between the two.
4. Hania Aamir as Sharjeena in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum
A shout out to Hania Aamir for playing Sharjeena in a way that Shajeena has now become an emotion, a feeling. From her makeup, her wardrobe, her mannerisms, her dialogue delivery, everything fits in like a perfectly solved puzzle.
5. Fahad Mustafa as Mustafa in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum
Subtle yet so impactful and absolutely heart winning. That is how you would describe Fahad Mustafa’s performance in KMKT
6. Emmad Irfani as Adeel in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum
It is not always easy to perform a negative or a grey character, but to deliver it in a way that it actually becomes interesting to watch, and you wait to see the next move. Emmad Irfani is doing this fabulously.
7. Naeema Butt as Rubab in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum
Another great performance. Rubab, after getting Mustafa and Sharjeena kicked out of the house is now at peace and totally enjoying the success of her devious plan.
8. Saba Hamid as Noor Jahan
What an absolutely impressive and intriguing performance that entertains you and makes you think about so many things. Saba Hamid is an institution in herself with years of experience and it was such a delight to watch her in this role totally entertaining us.
