1. SharPasand
This makeup dance between Fida and Sanam has our vote, The choreography, music, camera angles and expressions served by both Hareem Farooq and Affan Waheed carried an infectious vibe. Well performed and well directed, the scene checked all the boxes, from romance to fun, flirty and all heart!

2. Jama Taqseem
Laila losing it finally and possibly for the first time throughout the drama as she’s convinced Qais has been ignoring her and possibly spending a bit too much time with Asifa. The rage was real and many watching might have connected to the emotions – Laila all alone at home, her frustration evident, and Qais, surprised, shocked and a little confused, till anger took over and both faced off in a tired, helpless confrontation.
Well played Mawra and Talha – the emotions were real.

Zeeshan apologizing to Sidra and Sidra’s rage finally finding release in a moment that felt so cathartic, emotional and just right – the conversation revealed that Zeeshan still has his demons to fight and a skewed mindset as he tells Sidra he loves her, and Sidra finding the courage to tell him exactly how he made her feel was an intense moment in the episode – the interaction between these two was layered and heavy – lots still to unpack there.

3. Pamaal
When Raza asks the doctor exactly how his symptoms will reveal themselves as the disease progresses, it was a moment that felt heavy on the heart. One felt the weight of the disease weigh down on Raza even as the doctor hesitated to tell him all. It was an emotionally triggering Pamaal episode that had many viewers reaching for a box of tissues.

When Raza teaches Malika how to operate the fuse box at home and also demystify the car engine, followed up by driving lessons, the scenes mapped out Raza’s journey in the blink of an eye – from the man who was wholly in control to now helpless, to not wanting to let go till he made sure he had taught Malika everything she needed to know to survive on her own, it was a journey where the audience walked with him, thoroughly invested despite knowing that tragedy will strike very soon.
Raza won hearts despite the anger we felt for him earlier – Usman Mukhtar essayed the character in all its dimensions.

4. Biryani
When Gul Meher explains to Baba Saeen why it was important to turn over a new chapter, that he must lead by example rather than follow the tide, that change must be holistic and not segmented – educating the village women is one thing and empowering them to take charge of their future, including the choice of who to marry, should be part of the process. Gul Meher was up against a brick wall of tradition and patriarchy but her final plea that Baba Saeen would have his son Meeran, a whole person, happy in his personal life, might just have nudged Baba Saeen to take note.
Sarwat Gilani served up a stellar performance with tone, language and delivery in perfect sync.

5. Case No. 9
Rohit’s entry into the courtroom marked the moment we all had been waiting for. And as all eyes were on him, the camera lens spanned across the room at those who would be affected by his testimony, which way would Rohit sway? Kiran, Kamran, Seher, her mom, Bukhari and Beenish as well as Manisha all wait with baited breath – the suspense was real and the courtroom tension conveyed volumes.
The fact that there was no giveaway in the promos as to which way Rohit would testify was very important in making this scene impactful. Well done Case No. 9, you had the audience fully invested in this one.

6. Meri Zindagi Hai Tu
Ayra’s dream sequence in the powder room carried a lot of spunk and full throttle action. Although we knew even as we were watching, that this couldn’t be happening, the scene itself was well enacted, just the right duration, not too long, not too short and gave an interesting insight into what’s going on inside Ayra’s mind – kind of cathartic and hitting the spot for sure!
Well played Meri Zindagi Hai Tu.

And that’s all for the drama scenes this week. Tell us which one you loved best!
