A mass hysteria and a global heartbreak caused by no one other than the behemoth boyband BTS, 7 member boyband announcing their hiatus in 2022. The members, RM, Jin, SUGA, J –Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook revealed news their fans were dreading the most, during their BTS Fiesta Livestream while also mentioning how they will use this time to focus on their own solo projects “to be one” again. “I hope you don’t see this as a negative thing, and see it as a healthy plan,” J-Hope said. “I think BTS will become stronger that way.”

BTS has spent the last decade breaking world records, dominated all global charts and amassing die-hard millions of fans also known as ARMY’s. As a proof of their global power, the news of their hiatus’s aftershock resulted in Hybe (BTS’s management company) stock tanking in the stock market.
The good news though, the K-Pop sensation haven’t disbanded and are pursuing personal ventures and/or joining their due military service as mandatory for men in South Korea. Korean men are obligated to complete an 18-month enlistment in the South Korean army before they turn 28. Jin being 30, was high time for them to begin.
