Dear Doctor Tara, honestly it is a bit confusing. Should you have taken the ambulance without the hospital’s permission as a ride to meet your love? It is all in fun after all, or should you have avoided this as you being a doctor would know the importance of an ambulance being available for emergency, more than anyone.

Too Critical?
Maybe as critics we are becoming too critical. But it is disappointing to see characters who are doctors, who have taken oath to their profession, who you expect to have a sense of responsibility, performing such irresponsible acts in the drama. Maybe if it had been a student who is still young or maybe if the hospital had taken extreme action against this, the whole scenario could have still been saved. Using an ambulance like this and then also reasoning that, we won’t even encounter traffic because of this, was further disappointing.

Tell us, should we take a chill pill or are we justified in expecting more responsible humor from dramas?

Refreshing Makeover
While we feel the humor needs to be pulled back or tweaked for representation, we loved to see Saba Faisal in an entirely new look. The sober Doctor, so focused on her career made us admire the manner in which she can change hats and slip into a role we have not seen her play before. The well-tailored suits, the perfectly in-place hairdo, and the stern air added greatly to making a believable senior doctor who carries her profession off the hospital table and into her personal life too.
It is also commendable that the drama portrays a female professional as head of the household, one who is career oriented and exacting towards her work and her child – isn’t that what we have seen in many male role models so far? We hope though, that Dr. Raazia will carry a warm streak to show the human element in her and for us to empathize with her challenges later on in the story. For now, it is too early to pass judgment.
Onscreen Chemistry
Our two main leads, Ayeza Khan aka Dr. Tara, and Danish Taimoor aka Sarim seem to carry great chemistry, and why not. It is great to see real-life couples as onscreen couples as it allows them to bring their natural vibe to the relationship.

Sarim’s loud, happening, household placed in contrast to Tara’s quiet, uneventful one, is what makes the dynamics between the two entertaining to watch.
Tik Tok Alert
The Tik Tok scene in the park was a bit questionable too. It threw a poor light on social media users, especially TikTokers, and took on one kind of representation as a generalized opinion. We would like the characters to use this representation in a positive manner so as to send out positive messages to many young people who delve in social media either as a hoppy, or a profession.
Positive portrayals can go a long way in showing how things can be done as opposed to how they are done often – youth are very impressionable and should be allowed to see themselves on screen in constructive ways.
