Karamat Finishes Off Riasat Khan & Ashhad Still Dreams Of Zimal
The entire journey from when Karamat expressed his desire to push his father off the cliff to when he actually does it and then suffers a panic attack at home, to the point that he sees his father’s dead body brought home by villagers marked the utter horror of his actions. Well Played. Syed Jibran aka Karamat played it impactfully – the hurt, angry son who reacted in a fit of rage and let his evil thoughts control his mind just for a split second – and that was all he needed.
Karamat jee, it would have been a good idea to check if your father had actually signed the land deeds before you pushed him to his death, because now, you are stuck with a lawsuit if you try to usurp land and property that is no longer yours.
Karamat’s Backstory Missing?
But did you feel Riasat Khan was being unfair to his son by allotting the property to the villagers or, someone has to right a wrong that has been committed for generations? What did he expect, that Karamat would not fight for his inheritance? Perhaps more of a backstory as to why Karamat feels so wronged all his life would have helped explain what went wrong in his upbringing. We’re hoping we get the big reveal.
More Engaging Messaging?
Zimal is still engrossed in her world of educating young people and motivating them to play sports – a great message but again, lost in too much rhetoric. We also wanted to know if girls will be involved and have access to sports competitions at school, because that is a narrative that needs to be pushed for sure. Neem is turning out to be a story of intrigue and Karamat’s evil genius so far as he plots on how to marry Zimal, get back the land he has lost and keep his murder secret to himself.
Twist In the Plot?
Ashhad’s friend advising him to come out in the open and fight for his love is a bit far-fetched. Zimal is engaged to be married to Shazil but we feel both Karamat and Ashhad seem to forget this “minor’ detail. We hope the narrative of Neem will pick up beyond intrigue and unrequited love to deliver meaningful messages soon. Will Zimal agree to marry Shazil soon or stick to her 2 year plan?
