Irsa Ghazal delivered a phenomenal performance as Shamo sinks into the guilt of ruining Samiya’s life. Nothing is worse than regret & realization of how you have ruined the life of the very people you love deeply.
Nothing is more heart wrenching and emotional then a mother apologizing to her daughter. Kuch Ankahi not only shows how sometimes, but parents also make wrong decisions for their children, even though their intentions are not bad. But simultaneously, the story is giving us some very memorable, emotional moments.
The entire cake cutting scene with each daughter giving a message seemed a bit overdone yet touching, and gave some light, heart-warming moments in the drama,
Taniya’s Courage & Phuppo’s Cute Reaction
Taniya’s courage is finally rewarded with Mona deciding to fight her case and Ali coming back to her. How Taniya welcomes them back in her life without a single shikwa was representation of how she realized their value in their absence and also, how young relationships are beyond ego, & superficial issues.
Phuppo’s reaction to Asfar was the cutest. It must be noted how Kuch Ankahi is normalizing women of varying maturity, expressing their thoughts about a crush and their interest in the opposite sex, without making it cringe worthy.
