Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri -Sad to see the stress of the situation taking a toll on Saim and Zubia. They highlight how young love can be emotional, fearless and adventurous but lacks the maturity, depth and strength to bear the pressure & challenges of external factors.
Will the nikah even hold valid?
Will the nikah even hold valid? Did the urgency of the situation and panic make Zubia and Saim overlook the authenticity of the whole process? Daniyal refuses to let go and has almost reached them. It was nice to see both Zubia and Saim fighting and then forgiving and then becoming okay with each other. It kept the entire storyline interesting and didn’t bore us with negativity and sadness.
Unfair Telling-Off By Landlord
The telling-off that the landlord’s wife gave to Zubia seemed unfair since it seemed to ignore a very important factor – that both Zubia and Saim were brought to this decision by the decisions of their parents who refused to listen to them. If Zubia had not been attacked by those guys, the situation might not have become so bad worse between the two. Just when we start hoping for something positive from Saim, he does something careless, like leaving Zubia sleeping all alone – that really makes us question his maturity. Although he did go to find something for her.
Young Immature Love
While Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri might be highlighting how young love can be immature, it is definitely unfair to apply their story as a generalization for young love. Today’s youth is more street smart and responsible than we give them credit for.
Saim’s inner complaints against Zubia surfaced eventually, as he shouts at her about getting tired of being blamed for everything. Was Zubia justified in blaming him? Zubia did say hurtful things in that emotionally charged state accusing him of having ill intensions towards her and purposely delaying going back home.
We held our breath as the Nikah Nama was torn into pieces… they will need it in future and also to see if it even holds any validity in the eyes of the law. Sadly, Zubia and Saim are in more trouble than that they could have ever imagined in their wildest dreams.
