Ayra takes center stage as Zaid continues to be Zaid. Mubashira’s really cornered this time. And we also wonder, if anything Zaid does now, will ever really heal Ayra? But will he eventually start feeling for Mubashira?
Ayra’s Dilemma Explained
“Mere andar is waqt do shaksiaten janam le rahi hain”.
Ayra’s dilemma is essayed aptly through this dialogue. We see that she still feels something for Zaid. Whether it was a weak moment for her, or she was really being her true self, the fact that she mentions there are two people inside her, helped us understand the inner battle raging within her. One side wants to forget everything and settle down with Zaid, but the other side cannot let go of the pain and trauma she has been through, and the revenge she must seek from his father.
It is interesting that as viewers, we want both sides to win.
Mubashira Makes Things Happen In Zaid’s Life!
Zaid now shifts his focus on Mubashira as he knows that his dad will listen to her. Much as we are frustrated with him not being able to take a stand for Ayra himself, we also see that his father does not give him that importance and it is now becoming a pattern for him to seek out Mubashira every time he needs something from his father.
But will Mubashira’s plan be successful eventually and will Zaid really start feeling for her?
Zaid In Robot Mode?
However we question how Zaid can be so emotionally insensitive that he seems to think it’s okay to personally visit Mubashira’s father and invite him to his wedding reception. The drama takes a sensational turn here as Ayra looks on with an almost sinister glint in her eyes, the same expression she wore when she told Mubashira that the reception invite has been worded from her (Mubashira’s side).
What will Mubashira Do Next?
Swallow her “Mein”, grit her teeth and smile yet again when Zaid comes to her with yet another request?
Ayra did not like it that he left her side to go talk to Mubashira. Zaid being Zaid, doesn’t seem to think he needs to be subtle in his interactions with his two wives… oh Zaid, sometimes we wish you weren’t so robotic, but then, you will soon learn that marrying two women comes at a price, whatever the circumstances.
Therapy Talks
Before we go, we must mention Mubashira visiting her therapist. “You are Mubashira Jaffar” she says to Mubashira. The dialogue seems to have taken on viral mode. But what was she communicating to Mubashira here? That you are the best and above everything, or that you are strong and can face any difficulty? If it was the second, we agree with her, but perhaps a better choice of words here would have not reinforced Mubashira’s sense of ‘mein’, which was the problem to begin with?
Was Kashmala right in feeling anger at Zaid? So far, we were on his side, but do you agree he went too far by handing his second wedding reception invite to Kashmala’s father in-law? As a brother, we expect him to know where to draw the line. We wish the script had shown better and closer communication between the brother and sister. They both seem to be living their own separate lives!
Finally, will Ayra ever be happy with anything Zaid does for her? Will she realize that healing from inside might not come even after she gets Zaid’s father to submit to her will every time?
