Nervous & Petrified Sila In Dar Si Jati Hai Sila – 2017
Yumna Zaidi’s portrayal of Sila in Dar Si Jati Hai Sila shed light on a crucial yet often overlooked issue in our society: mental and sexual harassment. Mehjabeen played by Yumna Zaidi in Pyaar Ke Sadkay was indeed a visual delight. Essaying the role of a school-going innocent girl with limited exposure to the world’s complexities, Yumna beautifully depicted Mehjabeen’s desire to live the world wearing rose-tinted glasses, escape studies by getting married, assuming that marriage is the ultimate bed of roses. However, what truly stood out was the transformation of Mehjabeen after the loss of her father. Yumna’s portrayal captured the subtle yet significant shift in Mehjabeen’s character, from a naive girl to a mature and Samajhdaar Mehjabeen. The ability to convey the character’s journey in expression, demeanor, and attitude showcased Yumna’s versatility as an actress, earning her well-deserved appreciation from audiences.

RJ Annie In Parizaad – 2022

Through Annie, Yumna Zaidi not only reminded audiences of her talent to take on diverse roles, but also highlighted the importance of representation and inclusion in storytelling.

Even in dramas like Zara Yaad Kar, she embraced modesty and simplicity, showcasing her versatility across a spectrum of narratives.
