Yay Dilbar is alive; Zarnab has finally gotten rid of Faaris and every move of Rehmati’s is going against himself. Gentleman was pure entertainment this weekend giving us just the right blend of romance, jealousy and political moves.

A Father-Daughter Relationship To Root For
Zarnab and her father’s relationship is so beautiful and uplifting. He is there, standing behind her in whatever she does. When he feels it necessary, he does guide her but otherwise he is not really guiding her. The trust and confidence he has in her decisions is heartwarming. We are glad he was finally able to see Zarnab’s real feelings for Faris and ended the engagement.
Faris’ Karma Moment
When Faris questions Zarnab about staying at the hospital, praying for Munna, we feel like saying “ab pata chala… what about you meeting Mifrah all the time”.
Zarnab’s conversation with him at the dining table was great, showing the reality of how many girls are expected to just accept disloyal and corrupt husbands in the name “sub aisay hi hotay hain”.
A New Love Story?
Dilbar’s conversation with Zarnab when she comes to see him in the hospital was a love letter from Munna, read to Zarnab through Dilbar. Rarely do you witness such conversations which add to the love story rather than giving us a plain, boring monologue. A big shout out to the drama for showing Zarnab’s connection with Allah and highlighting how she turns to Allah for help. Something we all do, and the drama showcasing this relationship and reminding us too, was just awesome.
Is it just gratitude that Zarnab feels towards Munna or has his sincerity finally won her over and made her see the difference between him and Faaris? We got to see such a heartening love story this weekend. The best part was, that despite us knowing Munna will survive, we loved watching how Zarnab couldn’t stop praying for him. We were also tense and anxious with her, waiting for Munna to gain consciousness and finally see his wish come true.
Too Far Too Soon?
Though we absolutely loved the whole Zarnab-Munna story, we did think that Zarnab feeding Munna soup was a bit too much and a little awkward. The entire scene; stealing glances at each other, could have been avoided completely, limiting the whole interaction to just preparing soup and then having a conversation.
Rehmati’s Karma
Rehmati was shocked to find out that he will have to stay in jail. Best was when the policeman advised him to pray that Munna lives on. Rehmati was taking the events too lightly, not realizing that he is just a pawn in the hands of the politicians and can easily be replaced, which is about to happen.
Will Mifrah accept Faaris now? Or she won’t anymore, as now her ego issue about not letting Zarnab have Faaris has been satisfied?
