Jo iska ek sabse barra kamal hai, meney iske (Humayun Saeed) munh se kabhi kisi ki burai nahi suni aaj tak. Shayad me kardun, jo ghalat hoga ghalat, sahi hoga sahi, merey andar hai ye. Magar ghalat ko bhi seh jana, ye ek bohat barri baat hoti hai.

Adnan Siddiqui: “We met at Marina Khan’s house, Humayun was doing Mehreen Jabbar‘s long play at that time. We met there for the first time and at that time, Humayun was working with Khalida Riyasat, It was in 1996. I was very angry when I saw him. I was angry because I always wanted to work with Khalida Riyasat and he got the chance. It could be any actor’s wish to work with her.”
Humayun Saeed: “It was her last play. It was my first play in a private production. We have travelled a lot together actually.”
Adnan Siddiqui: “If you suddenly become friends, it’s not fun. There should be a bond, gradually. You should grow. That’s our friendship. With time, it became stronger.”
One Scene That You Had Most Difficulty Shooting In Gentleman?

Adnan Siddiqui reflected on the challenges of shooting scenes, stating, “Every scene is difficult. Acting is not an easy job, especially these fine dramas that are very challenging. The scene I found particularly tough was when he takes the oath. It was a very tough scene, the opening scene, and all the dialogues were lengthy.”

Humayun Saeed mentioned that Adnan’s acting surprised him. Additionally, he noted that Adnan stays cheerful and spreads happiness among others. Humayun observed that Adnan gets along well with household staff, treats everyone kindly, and genuinely cares for people. He shared how Adnan would take time to meet and converse with his parents when they were alive, including Aijaz Aslam’s father. Humayun appreciated these qualities, remarking that they are rare and valuable traits to cherish, encouraging reflection on them as they enhance the quality of time spent together.

Adnan shared with us that spending time with his grandmother after his mother’s passing taught him valuable lessons. He observed her desire to interact with everyone. Through this experience, he realized that elderly individuals often fear loneliness more than death itself, emphasizing the importance of companionship. Adnan expressed his genuine enjoyment in connecting with elders, noting that it has also facilitated friendships with the parents of others he knows.

Humayun Saeed discussed his approach to portraying characters, emphasizing the importance of styling and embodying heroism through their essence. He highlighted, “Heroism comes from the character itself, particularly in how he protects the girl. Despite being a poor guy, he maintains a certain innocence and decency. Even if tempted, he resists wrongdoing because he values respect in his actions.”
