Qasim Ali Mureed, in collaboration with exceptional scriptwriters, has gifted us a plethora of dramas that traverse a spectrum of emotions. Through his artistic prowess, he has skilfully woven narratives that made us laugh, brought tears to our eyes, and left us with the warmth of a satisfying conclusion. His work in “Mere Humsafar,” “Prem Gali,” and “Jaan-e-Jahan“ has been highly appreciated. With “Tich Button” and “Aangan” also to his credit, Qasim’s direction guarantees a must-watch production.
The time is 2.5 years ago, the vision is a story that pushes the envelope, it’s not your average love story because it plans to take viewers along a refreshingly original tangent, promises the Jaan e Jahan director:

Yeh Ishq Nahin Aasan is a story that was supposed to see the light of day 2.5 years ago after Qasim Ali Mureed wrapped up the super successful Mere Humafar. But then work, life, and more happened. Meri Shehzadi came in between and Yeh Ishq Aasan Nahin was shelved for a time till the creators went back to the drawing board and Qasim posted an announcement for the first episode shoot on his Instagram feed.
Yeh Ishq promises an engaging trajectory, a narrative that goes beyond the love stories screened presently in Pakistani dramas.

The cast features a formidable run up of who’s who: Sheheryar Munawar, Ushna Shah, Mah e Nur Haider, Shuja Asad, Irsa Ghazal, Sohail Sameer, Muhammad Ahmed, Mehmood Asalam, Kinza Malik among others.
