Hezbollah, however, has denied any involvement, attributing the incident to a failed Israeli interceptor missile.
Hezbollah has strongly denied involvement in the rocket attack, claiming instead that it was the result of a malfunctioning Israeli missile interceptor. In response, Israeli military officials have identified the rocket as a surface-to-surface Falaq rocket, attributing it to Hezbollah. Israeli Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Amid rising tensions, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has suggested that Turkey might intervene in the conflict. Israeli officials have condemned this potential intervention, complicating the diplomatic landscape further. In response to the escalating violence and anticipated retaliation, several international airlines, including Air France, Lufthansa, and Swiss International Air Lines, have suspended flights to and from Beirut. This disruption reflects the growing concern about the conflict’s impact on regional stability.
