Tamasha continues to bring out more tamasha day by day and honestly, it’s not living up to Its hype!
Tamasha Season 3 came after a long wait, widespread speculations, and rumors about who’s going to be in the contestant lineup, what the theme and games will be, if the Badshah is going to be the same, and much more. And then it came, and gave us nothing except disappointment.
Unnecessary Drama & Arguments Just For The Sake Of Sensationalism?
Mahi is now taking over Saima when it comes to starting unnecessary arguments with literally everyone, one after another. Is it just for the sake of sensational footage and traction? Her enthusiasm for confrontation reached new heights, turning every minor mishap into a dramatic spectacle. Anam Tanveer, though wanting to calm everyone down and try to resolve things from her end, even if it’s her argument with Ayaz over spilled milk or with Mahi over the safe zone task, tries to resolve things. But still, the amount of exaggeration with everything and everyone over small or big arguments is just as if she’s doing everything to be in the limelight for all of the 65 days.
The Tasks Race: Teams Are Not Teaming In Tamasha
When the Badshah asks you to make a team, it means a team with unity and the feeling of “Hum thay” as described by Noman Habib in the previous ration task. The blame game during tasks shouldn’t be there when you’re playing a game together. Mahi Baloch raging over Anam and Emman just because they were voting for Humna to play was such a below-the-belt move. As all the viewers witnessed, Humna was quicker and smarter in the gameplay than Mahi, and Humna was also right when she requested Mahi to let her go and told her that Mahi will get votes and needed to save herself. Mahi was continuously stressing over the fact that there’s no game anymore and the last four are the saved ones. Then she constantly pressured Anam and Emman that she played better and should go ahead and play. This contradiction in her own statements wasn’t understandable. Did she want to save herself and kick out Humna, even after Humna did a really great job?
On the other side, Junaid Akhtar started an argument without having a valid point. Was that too for the spotlight? We argue it could’ve been! But 4 of them, Junaid Akhter, Mahnoor Parvaiz, Humna Naeem, and Sheheryar Shahid are safe now.
Wazeer Sahab, You’re Just Losing Points!
Noman Habib, being the first-ever Wazeer of the house, is not doing a good job. Wazeer, the ultimate head of the house after Badshah, should know what’s right and wrong in the house, but Wazeer Sahab is not keeping his eyes open and is just doing what others (Ayaz Samoo, predominantly) are asking or suggesting him to do. From Abdullah’s rightful argument on why he needs to pre-clean the dishes to Agha Talal’s argument at the lunch table on why the Wazeer did not make it very clear to all the contestants that the entire team will not be saved, Wazeer Sahab should now just resign from his position and transfer it peacefully to Ayaz Samoo because eventually, it’s Ayaz Samoo, the actual Wazeer in disguise!
We Have A Gossip Trio Now In The House!
Dania, Wajeha, and Mahnoor are just backbiting and gossiping about everyone (prominently about Saima Baloch), and we ask why? Is it another gameplay strategy to just keep themselves in the limelight in order to get votes to becoming favorites? They have taken on the role of spectators or one can say phuppos, gossiping about everyone having a hidden agenda and creating drama. We can certainly relate to that feeling at times.
While Humna Naeem Radiates Positive Energy, Saima Baloch Is All About Herself!
Saima’s self-centered behavior, dictated by her moods, makes her a less-than-competitive housemate. Saima is just focusing on giving back negative energy even to those who are just trying to calm her down and giving her positivity! Humna is a calming influence in the house, demonstrating wisdom in her interactions with Mahi, both in and out of the game.
Others Are Being A Much Needed Source Of Entertainment!
Emman’s playful demeanor and avoidance of serious competition create a comedic atmosphere, even during chores. Mani’s speech about female superiority, while charming, felt out of place given the ongoing conversation. While Aqeel, Sheheryar, Agha, and Arsalan maintain a drama-free stance.
