Finally, a confession! Some funny moments from Rehmati, an endearing conversation between Dilbar and Zarnab and Faaris’ dark twist keeps the story going in Gentleman.

The Love Story
Iqbal Munna and Zarnab are in love and now that they’ve confessed their feelings to each other, we wonder if it will end well for them. With Faaris out for Munna’s blood, seems like Gentleman just found its real villain. It’s not Rehmati, or the influential politicians who pull the strings to get their dirty work done through him or Munna, it’s the gentleman sitting at his desk, pretending his hands are clean, and he has nothing to do with the raid in Zarnab’s house.
Faaris is revealing his true colors and they’re very dark.
Unreal Expectations
As Munna tells Zarnab he has taken over Rehmati’s position, she feels disappointed, then recovers when he says, his heart is in the right place. Is Munna planning to be the people’s saviour, a Robinhood in disguise? And how will this plan be executed if those whom he favours (the corrupt politicians) make him do their dark deeds? Is Zarnab being too naïve to think Munna will not commit any wrong?
A Wordy Storyline
A string of lengthy dialogues takes away from the final impact in Gentleman. We would love more action and less talk really. However, Rehmati’s fear of losing his ability to walk, his ego that demands everyone addresses him as aap and his visible emotional trauma in the hospital where he compared his situation to Munna’s (where Zarnab’s tiffin and duas were the highlight of Munna’s days), made him dive into even greater self pity and of course, amused us in the process.
Rehmati’s Comic Moves
Rehmati’s ability to swing between fearsome and comical add to the entertainment value of the episode. Dilbar too, is a character who makes us smile. His interactions with Zarnab and Munna reveal a deeply loyalty confidante, someone who constantly watches out for you – a friend we would all love to have in our lives.
Real Life Feels
The SHO’s advice to Faaris to pretend he’s mending fences with Munna was a startling reality we have often seen in real life. Zarnab hoping that Munna can take Rehmati’s place but do no wrong or injustice to the common man is a bit unrealistic, but we’ll wait and see where the story is headed.
Gentleman is standing at a crossroads. Will Faaris win the battle of evil vs good or, will Munna get the better of him, just like Rehmati. And will Mifra manage to stop Faaris in his tracks and save the day?
The story gets interesting as the two contenders might face-off very soon in coming episodes of Gentleman. Drop us a comment with your best guess for next episode. What should we expect from the Munna vs Faaris Face-Off?
