Faraar failed to pick up the pace yet again. Other than the suspense of whether Faraz will be murdered or not, Shamaila’s unfortunate dilemma about the pregnancy, the drama stretched storylines unnecessarily. Did you feel the same?
Baggi and Bali Encounter
Finally, Baggi and Bali meet, but instead of killing her, Bali is left speechless, unable to process his shock at seeing Baggi. Baggi, on the other hand, is curious to learn about what’s happening in his life. The scene, however, came together beautiful with the background score featuring Faris Shafi reciting the kalam.
Faraz’s Fate
Batish’s dilemma: Should Faraz be killed or not? Should this even be a question? Are we expecting too much from Batish to show some ethics and not kill the very person who risked his own life to help him? The real question remains—will Batish be able to save Faraz, and will he be able to forgive Bali for going behind his back?
The teaser last week showed a man pointing a gun at Faraz from behind, yet that scene was missing from this episode. We kept waiting for it, but it never appeared.
Bali and Batish are shown searching the city for Bali’s lost love, but the mystery remains—why did Bali leave everything behind and come to the village in the first place?
Sadia and Fasih’s Vespa Romance
Sadia riding a Vespa was not only visually interesting but also helped normalize the idea of girls riding bikes, even at night. The conversation between her and Fasih was adorable, especially when Fasih transitioned from addressing her as aap to tum. However, there seemed to be an issue with Sadia’s audio while she was riding the Vespa.
The Chase Continues
Javed and Saleem going to Sadia’s house not to find or Mohsin Baig at home was another win for the “good” side. Although we’re not sure how long Sadia can stay safe, knowing that the two suspect she is close to Fasih now. The Silsila movie reference brough a smile to our face.
Babrik’s Fate Hangs in the Balance
So, it turns out that Babrik killing Zhalay’s father and brother when she tells him the truth was just that—her imagination. It hasn’t really happened. While Babrik’s scenes with his brothers were heartwarming and emotional, we kept hoping that Zhalay would somehow step in and save him. But alas, we’ll have to wait a little longer to see where this storyline leads.
The episode also highlighted how political parties infiltrate schools and disrupt education and exams, influencing young minds like Batish—who having no real interest in studies, find power and rebellion appealing and liberating.
Faraar is moving forward at a crawl pace, and we wait to see how Baggi might be saved by Bali as she flees her Shakeela’s brothers. If Faraz will be saved by Batish or Mohsin Baig and of course, Babrik meeting up with Batish and company for the ultimate finale.
