Qarz e Jaan audiences are reacting on X minutes after the final episode was screened. Here’s what they have to say.

The final episode felt like a catharsis for many — releasing a storm of emotions that’s been building up for weeks. Qarz e Jaan made viewers reflect, and tonight… it reminded them why family will always be the making, or breaking point for all relationships.
From Ammar’s redemption arc to Nashwa and Burhan finally finding peace — the story gave its characters the closure audiences had been longing for.
But for many, Ammar’s redemption arc was a problematic route to whitewash the wrongdoings of hardened criminals – many whom we have seen played out in real life courtroom dramas.
However, Nameer Khan owned this episode. The performance was beautifully haunting, chilling and emotional.
A Happily Ever After Amidst The Chaos
Nashwa and Burhan — the fans finally got the ending they were rooting for. We’re really going to miss Nashwa and Burhan on our screens.
And then there was Bakhtiyar — some people never change.
The legal proceedings, though impactful emotionally, lacked detail, especially for such heavy crimes. And for a drama grounded in generational trauma and family complexity, we wish the aftermath, particularly how each family member confronts their role, had been unpacked.
Audience Reaction
Here’s what the audience is saying on X (formerly Twitter) — and it’s nothing short of emotional.
‘The most gorgeous closing scene ever. from Nashwa breaking Burhan’s heart and not allowing him to hold her hand to her now reaching out and holding his hand…my heart is a whole mess.’

A more substantive scene of Nashwa and Bisma was needed.

The emotions were real!

The harsh reality of parenting was highlighted.

‘I can’t cry but…’

‘We deserved Barkat’s reaction to Ammar’s confession and divorce. She was the catalyst for all the evil happening in the household. Excellent part on her. Missed her in the last episode’

‘Ammar’s confession reminded me of Wajeeh today.’ Someone said it and we couldn’t agree more! (P.S. it’s Wajeeh from Cheekh)

Ammar confessed and Nameer was brilliant!

‘Deepak, you’re a maestro. The pictures are from the same scene but the difference between Ammar’s dad. admonishing Nashwa for taking Asad’s case and Beenish’s dad, heartbroken at his daughter’s plight, is astronomical.’

Not every ending brings peace, but Qarz e Jaan gave its characters the reckoning they deserved. The journey was messy, emotional, and unforgettable — and as the audience on X continues to process it all, one thing is clear: this drama won’t be fading from memory anytime soon.
