As always, we’ve handpicked the top 5 dramas of the week with our editor, Rabia Mughni – so you know it’s the good stuff!
5. Naqsh

At number five, Naqsh is moving ahead strongly. It would be worthwhile to show more of the office rivalry and scientific research (since Hamna is an engineer) rather than saving it for the final episodes. Hamna’s logical and composed stance toward Rahim continues to impress.
4. Dayan

Dayan maintains interest through the suspense of Misha’s next move and the possibility of a deeper plan. Zakia’s unexpected death was surprising and shifts the focus to her husband’s story. While the pacing could be tighter, the intrigue around Misha’s future actions and whether Shabab and Fauzia will see through the game keeps the drama engaging.
3. Shirin Farhad

Shirin Farhad continues to go strong with romance portrayed in a fresh, old-school style that feels far from typical. The dialogues are particularly enjoyable and well-crafted. Although the pacing could be improved to reduce some of the drag, the script balances conspiracy and positivity effectively. Farhan Saeed and Kinza Hashmi deliver outstanding performances, supported by a talented cast that makes the drama worth watching.
2. Dastak

Dastak remains highly engaging, with its twists and turns adding strong appeal. However, the narrative would benefit from moving forward more quickly, as repeated conversations involving Moiz, Kiran, Fizza Khala, Kabir Mamu, and Saif are starting to feel prolonged. Saif’s unending resentment also adds to this sense of stagnation. The story now seems ready to progress toward its next major developments.
1. Parwarish

Parwarish stands out with its strong script and engaging narrative. Each episode is rich with meaningful moments, ensuring there is never a dull scene. Every character and every interaction feels significant, encouraging the audience to reflect and stay fully engaged throughout. And yes, we are rooting for Maya and Wali for sure!
