Working With Mawra & Talha
Nazeeha said that working with Mawra and Talha was a wonderful experience. She mentioned that everyone on set was very kind, and she really enjoyed being around both Mawra and Talha. Meeting Mawra for the first time made her a little shy, especially during her very first scene with her. About Talha, she said he was very friendly and funny, which helped her feel more comfortable.
Elahi Bux shared that he got along really well with both Mawra and Talha and had a lot of fun. Although he hadn’t spoken much to Mawra on-set, he learned a lot from watching her, including how to carry one’s self on set and stay comfortable in front of the camera. He recalled a moment when Mawra appreciated the young cast, calling them the “cherry on top of the cake” of Ali Hassan’s work, which he found very encouraging. He described Talha as a brotherly presence on set, always supportive even though they didn’t share many scenes together. Overall, he felt that working with both of them was a really positive and enjoyable experience.
Nazeeha & Elahi Credit Ali Hassan For Their Characters
Nazeeha shared that although Ali Hassan did brief her about the character, she didn’t fully understand it at first. Her very first scene involved her standing in front of a mirror, looking at herself and her nails, and even then she wasn’t sure what was going on. She said she got to understand her character scene by scene. Ali Hassan told her to try once, and if she made a mistake, he would guide her.
Elahi Bux said that Ali Hassan was very transparent with him from the beginning. He briefed him on every single scene and explained his thought process before each one. Elahi credited Ali Hassan for much of his performance, saying that if people liked his character, “80% of the credit goes to Ali Bhai”. He added that Ali Hassan always guided and mentored them, telling them what to do and how to approach each scene, which made a big difference in bringing their characters to life.
Handling Sensitive Scenes: Nazeeha & Elahi On Guidance & Support
Elahi Bux recalled the sensitive scene involving his character, Zeeshan. From the start of the drama, the production team had discussions about it, and a few people came to talk through the concerns. He admitted that he had his own worries, and Ali Hassan also considered how to handle the scene without making it overly extreme or derailing the story. Elahi appreciated how considerate Ali Hassan was; whenever they had concerns, he would patiently explain the approach and adjust the scene if needed. The scene was shot in a way that left room for viewers to interpret it, using music and subtle direction to balance the intensity while keeping it appropriate for the audience.
Nazeeha shared that preparing for her intense scene was challenging. She felt unsure at first because it was her first time performing such a sensitive moment, where her character was revealing something serious to the world. She described the scene as very intense and emotionally overwhelming. Ali Hassan guided her step by step – telling her when to hit the wall, when Talha’s character would come, how to hold his hand, and how to show fear, stammer, and stutter. With this guidance, she was able to immerse herself in the moment, and when it was her turn to cry, she fully embraced the emotions of the scene, letting herself feel as though it was happening to her own self.
