What’s happening in the biryani universe? Here is the latest FUCHSIA review!

Meeran’s decision to bring Gul with him and asking her to go out for dinner — is that his way of taking a step towards her? Because despite blaming Gul for the marriage and constantly saying they need to tell the truth to his parents, he still hasn’t done it. Maybe he’s just been thinking, crying inside, and gradually accepting the situation?
The ongoing debate — and probably a question in every viewer’s mind — who is innocent and who is to blame in the Meeran–Gul Meher marriage? Gul Meher seems to have clearly chosen her destiny and married Meeran for Haroon. Meeran, though not that young, still made a foolish decision — one that’s haunting him now. Of course, the script is also to be blamed for messing up the age part.
Rashid Bhai is such a shady character! But it’s interesting to see how the writer has created a character who makes you feel sorry for him one minute and then totally annoys you the next. The way he maneuvers the phone call so Nisa ends up going for dinner with him and his friend, and then instantly posts their pictures on Facebook shows both his desperation and insecurity. He wants to tell the entire world that Nisa is engaged to him so everyone knows she’s taken, and at the same time, it boosts his ego.
Thank God Mamoon and Nisa are friends again. It was really not nice seeing Mamoon go quiet and ignore Nisa. Credit to him for not giving up until she finally opens up and tells him the truth. Though Mamoon says he already had an idea, it doesn’t seem convincing since the drama never showed any sign of it. If he really knew, he should’ve consoled her earlier. Is Nisa’s mother doing the same — keeping quiet despite knowing what’s wrong with her daughter?
Haroon really needs care and is a responsibility. The drama has made it clear that Gul’s fears are justified — who would have taken this responsibility and accepted her with Haroon? But maybe she could have continued living with her chacha, Meeran’s father, instead of marrying Meeran.
The drama highlights the impact of forced marriages — how they destroy so many lives. Sometimes the marriage is forced blatantly, and sometimes unknowingly.
And what’s the deal with Meeran’s father? One moment it feels like he can see beyond the surface and truly understand Gul and Meeran, but the very next moment he acts completely unaware. How can he not look into Meeran’s eyes and know what’s going on?
Nisa seemed composed and in control in front of Gul Meher, but it’s clear that soon, this will start affecting her.
