Jinn Ki Shadi Unki Shadi is not only making you laugh but also giving you a mystery to solve and romance to enjoy. The maulvi sahib in the drama says that jinns also marry humans and live among them. Now, is the drama making space for Khushi to marry Ali so we finally get a happy ending? Not just humans but jinns too are willing to sacrifice everything in love — just like Khushi is doing now.
Zara and Asad’s couple is probably an underrated part of the drama. They’re hilarious and perfect for each other, bringing the best comic relief to the audience.
Ali’s relationship with Zara as his bhabi is also endearing and heartwarming — especially the way he tries to show her all the positives of having a jinn-zadi as her sister-in-law.Wahaj Ali gave a great performance as he proposed to Nadia — something that was definitely out of his comfort zone and a role we haven’t seen him play before. It was refreshing and entertaining to watch Wahaj perform this scene.
While the drama keeps us entertained, it also reminds us to keep our belief in Allah, the Qur’an, and to avoid relying on any practices related to jinns. You keep hearing lines like “I have read Ayat-ul-Kursi so they cannot hear what I say,” and “Namaz ka waqt ho gaya hai — only namaz is the best solution.” The drama must be credited for incorporating true religious beliefs so beautifully and naturally.
Hats off to the creators for that brilliant scene where Sehar as Khushi is locked over a pond by Chamki — that must have taken a great deal of effort! A brilliant performance by Sehar Khan, especially for doing something that must not have been easy.
What is Chamki planning to do? She made Nadia believe that Ali proposed to her — but how can she turn that against Ali when Ali and Zara already figured out it was Chamki who pretended to be him? We’re scared and intrigued at the same time. What if she actually manages to create a misunderstanding between Ali and Khushi? We’re curious to see how she plans to pull that off.
So, what’s the mystery behind Aazer? Why can’t he use his powers outside the haveli? Some dialogues really catch your attention and hit differently — like when Aazer says, “I collect human beings, just like you guys collect cars, coins, etc.” Hearing it like that felt surreal — it makes you feel conscious and, at the same time, strangely powerless… as if you were someone’s collection item.
Jamshed and Sameera are finally making sense as to why they are part of the story. Though Sameera tests our patience at times. But we are glad she had the sense to approach the maulvi sahib and seek solutions. Will she manage to free Jamshed from Azer? Best is Jinns are so cool they even speak in english. The drama is really touching on all points.
Ali not telling Nadia the reality of who really proposed to her was a bit unfair to Nadia. But then that is Ali who doesn’t really think too deep. We feel for Nadia.
