Pamaal: Latest episodes review

Malika and Raza’s story gives you many familiar moments — things you see around you even today. A man expecting his wife to accept his lifestyle and revolve her entire being around him is still very common. The most interesting part of the drama is that Malika actually likes it at first — she enjoys the attention and the sense of being “owned” — until Raza starts doubting her character. That’s when it hits her: he always gives emphasis to his own choices, and hers are always pushed aside.
The drama gives us a bit of perspective on Raza’s behavior when his brother mentions that Raza was sent to a hostel at a young age instead of being kept at home. Maybe that created a fear of abandonment and an urge to tightly hold on to what he loves — which explains some of his actions.
Also, one wonders: if Raza had spoken to Malika kindly and simply asked her not to meet Anas, would she have reacted the same way?
Malika’s mother shares some really insightful and thought-provoking words when Malika returns home after a fight with Raza. The way she explains the reality of every man as a husband was very well done.
Is Anas teasing Malika on purpose? He knows Raza won’t like it — is he creating tension between them intentionally?
Malika is gradually realizing what she’s gotten into. She still tries to deny the reality of it and focus only on how much Raza loves her — but Mehmal’s entry has changed things again.
The Malika who would have done anything for love is now beginning to lose patience as she sees Raza’s double standards. She may love him deeply, but she’s not someone who will stay silent. For now, she’s trying her best to make things work.
The drama beautifully portrays how many girls mistake toxic love for deep love — when Raza asks Malika to write only about him, and she agrees, giving up her passion for writing. The drama highlights that girls need to move away from this mindset — to be emotionally and financially strong.
Appreciating Pamaal for showing some genuinely positive characters like Mamoon and Mumani — a refreshing touch!
