From what’s worth your screen time to what you can skip guilt-free, here’s your weekly dose of the drama world – as we picked the top 5 dramas of the week with our editor, Rabia Mughni! This week was a tough call, with strong performances, engaging stories, and some surprising shifts in ranking. Here’s what made it to the list!
5. Pamaal

At number 5 is Pamaal. The drama is very engaging and relatable, with a good pace that keeps everything moving. The story is a bit predictable, but it is still interesting. The performances are excellent, with Saba Qamar, Haris Waheed, Usman Mukhtar, and Salma Zafar giving amazing performances. The OST is also very beautiful and worth listening to.
4. Case No. 9

Case No. 9 is doing well, but it has slowed down a bit. The story feels familiar, and there isn’t much new or different happening. The flashbacks sometimes take the story backward, while we want to see what happens next. Because of this, the drama can feel a little boring at times.
3. SharPasand

SharPasand is a very interesting drama. Farasat Ali’s character (played by Naumaan Ijaz) is extremely clever, controlling everything from a distance like a puppet master, while others get caught in his plans without even realizing it. The drama also focuses on Shazmeen (played by Hira Mani), showing how she faces a judgmental society, with people criticizing her clothes, behavior, and choices. There are many twists and surprises that keep the story engaging, making it a drama that is both smart and interesting to watch.
2. Jinn Ki Shadi Unki Shadi

Jinn Ki Shadi Unki Shadi is doing very well and is a lot of fun to watch. It mixes romance, mystery, and religious reminders in an entertaining way. The drama presents the correct concepts of Islam, like Namaz, Quran, and Ayat, without misleading ideas. The story is engaging, with funny and memorable scenes that make it really enjoyable.
1. Jama Taqseem

Topping the list this week is Jama Taqseem. It is going very strong and creating a lot of conversation. The drama makes you think, showing what is right and wrong in a very relatable way. The performances are excellent, and the story makes you feel emotions, from sadness to concern about what might happen next.
