What an incredibly exciting week for Case No. 9! The episodes truly impressed and entertained us, making it feel like we were watching something straight out of Netflix. A huge shout-out to the writer, Shahzaib Khanzada, and the director, Syed Wajahat Hussain, for delivering edgy, sharp, surprising, and anxiety-building episodes that kept us glued to our screens.

We had been suspecting Shazia since the previous episode, but we weren’t entirely sure. The drama kept us guessing, dropping hints and leading us on in such a brilliant way that it never once felt dull or repetitive. However, when we finally discovered that Shazia had been planted by Kamran and Shafiq, curiosity quickly turned into stress and panic. The big question became: will Ali manage to warn Seher in time and stop the video from being uploaded on social media?
When Seher ended Ali’s call without listening to him, the audience’s stress levels skyrocketed. The fear that Kamran might win again, especially when the damage this time could have been devastating for Seher’s case, sent viewers into a frenzy. The creators masterfully brought us to the final seconds before the upload, only to reveal the truth to Seher just in time to stop Manisha from posting the video. And with that moment, we all breathed a sigh of relief. What followed was pure excitement and appreciation for what we had just witnessed.
It’s rare for a drama to leave a lasting impact long after an episode ends, but Case Number 9 did exactly that. The scenes linger in your mind and that’s a sign of powerful storytelling.
The best part? The story was well-structured and brilliantly executed.
Sadly, in the second episode, Ali’s identity was revealed to Kamran, which now hints that Kamran—unable to accept defeat—will strike back with something even bigger and darker.
Another commendable moment was the interrogation scene involving the servants. Despite being coached by Bukhari Sahab, Beenish was sharper, picking up on the smallest details. It would have been nearly impossible for all three to memorize everything without slipping up, and that is exactly where Beenish delivered the hardest blow—she is breaking their testimonies through precision and observation.
The biggest question now remains—What will Rohit do? Rohit is expected to be summoned by the court in the next session, but whose side will he take is still uncertain.
