Zanjeerain has been on a roll for the past two weeks. Episode after episode, viewers either experience heartbreak, witness a scene they can’t stop thinking about, or praise a performance that shakes them from within. This week, it was Danyal Zafar and Sajal Aly’s performances that took our breath away!

We were all asking: Where is Rabiya? Has she been taken away by Sarbuland? Is she even alive? This episode finally gave us the answers. From how Sarbuland brought Rabiya out and took her to the hospital, to Sajal Aly delivering one of the finest performances of her career, every moment left an impact.
Both Sarbuland, played by Danyal Zafar, and Rabiya, played by Sajal Aly, left us speechless and shook our world. Rabiya’s search for answers, constantly saying, “Mujhe Mudassir k paas jana hai,” and Sarbuland’s inability to find the right words perfectly captured how anyone would feel in such a situation. It was believable, real, raw, human, and so much more. This scene became one of those moments that set X on fire.
X has been talking about both performances and how Rabiya portrayed grief while Sarbuland conveyed helplessness in the best way possible. It made our hearts go out, especially to Rabiya, who now has no hope left. As Rabiya sits at Mudassir’s grave, the shock, grief, horror, and pain visible on her face cut right through you. That’s when you know the actors absolutely ATE! And while the actors delivered some of their best performances, director Shahzad Kashmiri and writer Farhat Ishtiaq also deserve immense credit for the masterpiece they created.
