With Tamasha Season 5 heading towards its final stretch, the competition inside the Tamasha Ghar is getting more intense with every passing episode.
With all the alliances, fights, unlikely friendships, tasks, nominations, and drama that have happened over the past few weeks, we are finally nearing the end of the road, which will ultimately reveal who makes it to the finale. The season has had no lack of tough cookies in this season but when it comes to making a guess about the top five in our opinion, these five contestants stand out for us!
One nomination, one task or one public voting could change everything. But judging from what we’ve seen all along, these are the five contestants who could make it to the top 5.
Dr. Zee Khan
There would be no doubt that Dr. Zee has managed to give the Tamasha team and viewers some of the most reel-worthy moments during this season. There is something about him which is extremely entertaining. Whether he’s in a fight, passing a remark, or even the facial reaction he gives to whatever is happening around him, it is bound to keep you entertained.
The interesting part is that you can never really figure him out. Sometimes you feel like he is playing the game completely from the heart, while at other times you wonder if he is actually much smarter than he lets on and is simply acting a certain way so nobody sees him as a threat. Either way, that unpredictability has definitely worked in his favour.
Babrik Shah
Babrik has played a smart game throughout the season. He has managed to save himself consecutively for five weeks and, interestingly, he has not had to rely heavily on alliances or fixed groups to get this far. Instead, he has mostly played his own game.
In fact, Babrik has almost made himself the lone player of the season. Despite the arguments and changing dynamics around him, he has continued to find a way to stay in the game, and that ability to survive week after week is exactly why we can see him making it to the Top 5.
Laila
Laila’s biggest strength might actually be her heart. Whether you agree with her gameplay or not, she has managed to win over a section of the audience through the way she treats people inside the house. From treating Fasih like her own little brother to standing up for Babrik during last week’s game so he could stay safe, she has shown that her relationships can go beyond her arguments with people.
What makes the Babrik situation even more interesting is that the two have had their fair share of arguments, yet Laila still chose to help him when it mattered.
Fasih Khalid
Fasih has been the lion in disguise, if we have to put it that way. He may not have revealed his full potential from the very beginning, but as the season progressed, he has come out as one of the strongest and most unpredictable players in the house.
It is almost impossible to tell what Fasih will do next, and this unpredictability has helped him. He has successfully handled many situations and shown that he has a lot more tricks up his sleeve than he had shown at first.
Samiya Hijab
Agree with her gameplay or not, Samiya has definitely understood one important thing about reality television: sometimes manipulation and playing with the house dynamics can work in your favour. She has been involved in friendships, disagreements, voting conversations and shifting dynamics, and she has rarely allowed herself to become irrelevant.
While her gameplay can sometimes be hard to figure out, one thing that is clear is that it has helped her stay relevant throughout the show. And, as it stands right now, being relevant is as crucial as winning a task in Tamasha.
Yasir Alam became the Wazeer in the second-last week and has reached the finale week alongside Laila. However, the 24/7 live feed has disrupted the feel of it all. By now, we already know that Hassan and Babrik have also been saved through the game and have made it to the finale week.
A petition to the ARY team: please do not run this 24/7 stream format from the next season, because it takes away the element of curiosity that actually keeps us hooked and wondering what will happen next.
