1.His First Job
Usman did his first job in a bank, and was responsible for selling credit cards. From travelling on “wagons and going to clients”, Usman took on this job in 11th grade. He went from door to door, only to earn his first salary of Rs. 5000.
2. First Time He Failed a Course
Usman was in his fourth grade when he failed a course in Math. He recalled the moment when his mother got to know about this news, and described “maarti maarti gari tak lekar gaien thein mujhe”. Well, we are not so surprised on your mother’s reaction, because that’s just so typical of our desi moms
3. First Fan Moment
After his much-appreciated performance in Anaa, he received a letter at his house. Usman was not sure how this fan dug out his address, but he was surely surprised with the contents of the letter.
“I’ve been stalking you and I want to meet your mother” read the letter sent by a woman. A crazy fan who had been long stalking Mukhtar, wished to meet with Mukhtar’s mom to discuss their future together! While Usman acknowledged how people tend to pour their love for him, but at the same time, he also said “there is a borderline”. We fully respect that, and the public should too.
4. First Time Usman Bunked a Class
In eight grade, Usman bunked his first class. He would secretly go out at the “khoka” and this is where he picked up the habit of smoking. But Usman tells us that he’s kicked the habit since, and he doesn’t smoke anymore
5. First Song You Remember Singing?
Well, Usman does not sing. He is “self-aware” of how bad a singer he is. But he did tell us his favorite song. Any guesses? The famous I’m a Barbie Girl by the Aqua!
