Is that pimple getting you down? Here are three DIY masks for removing blemishes. All ingredients can be found easily in your kitchen!

Blemishes, uneven skin tone, scars are common. Sad, but true. Well, here are three DIY masks which can help say goodbye to those blemishes and scars. Let’s see what they are
1. Lemon and orange juice
When used in a proper way, citrus can be very useful. While helping reduce blemishes, it also achieves even skin and for oily skin, helps control excess oil.

Method.
1 teaspoon orange juice and 1 tsp lemon juice. Mix them well with a few drops of rose water and apply with a cotton ball. Once dry, wash your face with lukewarm water, pat dry and apply a toner or lotion.
2. Strawberry mask
Strawberries are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C which help clear blemishes.

Method:
Take 5-6 strawberries, grind them to make a paste and mix them with 3-4 drops lemon juice. Apply on your face with the help of a brush. Let it sit for 20 minutes, then rinse off.
Tip for dry skin : Add honey into the mixture for a natural moisturiser.
3. Tomato mask
Tomato has lightening qualities, perfect to remove blemishes overtime.
To make the mask.
Take 1-2 tomatoes and grind them well to form a paste. Then add in 1tsp of honey and mix. Apply for 20-30 minutes, rinse off and moisturize!

The mask I tried out?
Just like everyone else, I also have unwanted blemishes and scars. So, last year I tried the lemon mask and it worked wonders. It treated my blemishes, gave an even skin tone as well as a refreshed appearance!
At times, lemon may sting your face so it’s best way to apply ice after you rinse your face with lukewarm water.
Note: Apply the mask you prefer at least twice or thrice a week for best results!
