The Pakistani drama industry has given us a great range of genres and plays that we absolutely love. But what if things were thora sa hatkay? What about unlocking new topics, breaking the patriarchal barriers and stepping out of the old ‘traditions’? These are a few script ideas we’d love to see on the silver screen!
1. Working Girls
3 friends who live together, have jobs & pay their bills (independent of their families). This one could be a blend of comic and serious situations- relatable, endearing & humorous.

2. Home Alone Desi Version
A young working couple who lives independent of their inlaws. How do they manage babysitting options for their children, quality time together & striking a balance between their me time & family time? Comic, serious, poignant & new desi couple goals much?

3. Office Wars
Office politics, successes, losses, the entire dynamics with a star cast featuring both men & …surprise surprise…women?
How women & men are often different people at work & at home. Social messages, thriller script & of course, always, with a touch of humour.

4. It’s All In The Family!
How extended desi families manage a growing & successful family business. The power struggle, the political intrigues & the wins! We see great potential in this one. What do you say?

5. Those Teen Years
A group of 5 friends in college. The story follows their college projects, social life, personal family issues. The script can throw light on bullying, harassment, sports (men & women), issues faced by young people, including their journey into adulthood. Comic, serious, and oh so relatable.

Tell us which script had your heart and which writer/ director do you think would be JUST right for the project!
