1. Asma Abbas as Suriyya Bibi in KAM3
A heart wrenching performance that will make you cry for sure. The subtle nuances of unsteady footsteps, the disoriented aura of a mother in pain was brilliantly portrayed by her.
2. Mirza Gohar Rasheed as Daniyal in Laapata
Gohar gives a mention-worthy performance as he develops Daniyal’s character further, giving you the creeps. We see very few villains who evoke tangible fear, & Daniyal is definitely on that path.
3. Ayeza Khan as Geeti in Laapata
Ayeza Khan makes you smile, & sometimes makes you question Geeti’s actions. But whatever it is, you cannot but not feel invested in Geeti’s plans. From subtly approaching Shams to planning her own shadee, Geeti jee is keeping us engaged.
4. Juvaria Abbasi as Safia in Aakhir Kab Tak
Juvaria deserves a standing ovation for her performance as Safia steps out of her shell & gives Bisaam a well deserved thrashing. If we thought you were great in last week’s episode you were mind-blowing this week!
5. Mashal Khan As Lubna in Parizaad
A subtle yet impactful performance. Mashal Khan beautifully portrays the helplessness & sorrow of Lubna who has no option but to accept her fate, making us feel for her deeply.
6. Dur-e-Fishan as Ayeman in Pardes
A noteworthy performance for subtly mirroring the frustrations & challenges of women living alone – a realistic & not OTT portrayal so we could connect with Ayeman’s problems & felt for her.
7. Hina Afridi as Bushra in PSM
Hina Afridi has caught our eye since the very first scene in Pehli Si Mohabbat. She is doing an admirable job of portraying Bushra – a girl who can’t have the person she loves but still supports him & guides him. Well done.
8. Huma Nawab as Saleha in HKKST
Huma jee we are loving you as Saleha. What a positive, calming & sensible character & you have done a skillful job of portraying her – making us love & respect Saleha phuppo.
