The much-hyped drama, ‘Ishq E laa’ has finally graced our TV screens with its first episode last night and fans can’t stop raving about it on Twitter!
The drama stars two of the most versatile and talented actors in our industry, Sajal Aly and Yumna Zaidi, and the singer-turned-actor, Azaan Sami Khan, in the lead roles. It is written by Qaisera Hayat, directed by Amin Iqbal, and produced by Momina Duraid Productions.
Sajal Aly’s character, Shanaya is a headstrong journalist who isn’t afraid to speak her mind and unmask all the evils in our society. Yumna Ziadi as Azka is an aspiring doctor, who has a certain innocence about her that mustn’t be mistaken for submission because she knows how to stand up for herself and her priorities. Azaan Sami Khan as Azlan is a successful businessman and we couldn’t really get too much more about his character from the first episode (except that there’s more than meets the eye)!
