3. Khushhal Khan As Ayaz In Qissa Meherbano Ka
Such a natural & true to life performance that makes you root for him & then, melts your heart for Ayaz.
4. Azfar Rehman As Zafar In Aakhir Kab Tak
Azfar makes you fear Zafar, he appears like a regular guy who is a professor, a friend, a trusted confidante, but underneath it all, hides a shaitan – That’s how brilliantly he performed the character.
5. Saboor As Bubbly In Parizaad
Saboor made us cry & depicted the dilemma faced by Bubbly – the love for her parents & then the reluctance & fear of returning to the old life – a notable & praise-worthy performance.
6. Asad Mumtaz As Guru In Parizaad
Guru represented the pain of the marginalised community with finesse, without undermining their honour, yet making us all realize their pain deeply.
7. Noman Hassan As Achay Mian In Qissa Meherbano Ka
The way Noman Hassan has played this role is mention-worthy. We are not only intrigued but entertained as well while we watch him play his game on screen & are amazed at how fasadi he is.
8. Prerna Bajaj As Young Mehrunissa In Dobara
What a lovely & heart touching performance that shows us glimpses of the spark of youth, the frustration of being caged & the futile efforts to break free. Prerna is winning our heart.
9. Yumna As Azka In Ishq E Laa
What a great portrayal of Azka’s self respect, pride, fear of being caged, yet a fearless nature that makes you want to keep watching her.
10. Sohail Sameer As Sultan In Ishq E Laa
What an uplifting character & a natural performance by Sohail Sameer as Sultan. He makes you relate to the character & his relationship with his mom & sister resonates instantly.
11. Sajal Aly As Shanaya In Ishq E Laa
Shanaya is love. She uplifts you, she makes you root for her & she is the voice of your conscience.
12. Naumaan Ijaz As Behroze In Parizaad
He has managed to make us sympathise for him despite knowing he is heading a vast crime network, he had blood in his hands & he demands your life as a mark of loyalty. Naumaan Ijaz has played Behroze with a fine sensitivity. His quiet gaze, in control demeanour & sharp comebacks in the face of challenge, keep us rooting for him.
