Paristan will be the new light-hearted comedy drama for us to be binge watching this Ramzan! But, we really hope that its narrative doesn’t revolve around marriage, just like Suno Chanda, Chupke Chupke & Ishq Jalebi. Perhaps the audience wants something out of the box, kuch hat ke from the dramas … Not to take away from the Ramazan hits of 2021 that went down well with audiences, but variety is the spice of life yeah? Hence, we are hoping that the script writer Samra Bukhari & director Ali Hasan will be bringing us a wholesome comedy with a unique storyline.

The star-studded cast of Paristan includes Javeria Saud, Aymen Saleem, Arslan Naseer, Merub Ali, Junaid Jamshaid Niazi, Navin Waqar, Mira Sethi, Moorro aka Taimor Salahuddin and Ali Safina. We are excited about who pairs up with whom and gives us some major couple goals. It can be argued that, as popular YouTubers make the crossover from online streaming to offline acting, audiences are, perhaps justified in expecting a laugh out loud performance from the stars they love to follow.

So far, we know that the main character is called “Pari” and the plot revolves around getting the women in the family married off. Navin Waqar’s character Mehreen will reportedly be a self-indulgent woman living in her daydreams. Meanwhile, Javeria Saud’s character is a Punjabi woman whom we’re hoping is as memorable as Saima Chaudhary played by Bushra Ansari in Annie Ki Ayegi Barat!
Is Paristan The New Shaadi Series From HUM TV After The Baraat Series Of GEO?
Without any teasers, it is hard to predict the storyline of Paristan, but as we are aware that the mastermind behind the drama is Ali Hasan, expectations are high! The story might be (hopefully) depicting out some romantic & funny desi wedding scenarios. We really hope that the cast makes us sit back and catch a light-hearted watch. However, what if it turns out to be similar to the Baraat series? Guess we’ll have to wait and find out! Like we said, will the drama once again use the shaadi as the crux of the story line or focus on original story lines that experiment with diverse plots.
With Aymen Saleem, Mira Sethi & Arsalan Naseer giving us Chupke Chupke last year, we expect great punchlines.
