Attention all budding filmmakers! ISPR is organising a National Amateur Film Festival (NASFF) to provide the Pakistani youth with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and talent. With the help of these filmmakers, NASFF aims to project the real, true image of our beloved country.
In addition, high achievers of this festival will get a chance to win a scholarship to the much-acclaimed and prestigious film schools in the world. Last year, 15 high achievers were accredited one year Film-making Diploma from the New York Film Academy.
This year’s theme is “Oceans to Mountains.” According to ISPR’s website, the thought behind the theme is as follows,
“From the turquoise waters of the Arabian Sea to some of the highest summits on the planet, Pakistan’s unique geography is an endowment not many countries can rival. There is a need to showcase the diverse landscape, rich culture, and ancient heritage of the marvel, called Pakistan.”
Criteria To Apply & Guidelines
NASFF welcomes all kinds of genres as long as the content is original and has previewing rights. It can be Fiction, Documentary, Animation, and Experimental films. The duration for all genres except Experimental films should be up to 12 minutes. In addition, languages including English, Urdu, and Regional are allowed as long as there are English subtitles included.
Moreover, the submitted film’s content should be produced after 1st January 2018 and must be copyright protected. NASFF will not be charging a screening fee to any of the participants.

Deadline
The registration deadline is 1st May 2022. Once registered, you can submit your short films by 30th June 2022.
