Writer Radain Shah has given us some great projects in the past, namely Aakhir Kab Tak, Shehnai, Nibaah… and it is the strength of these past projects that is making us bear the regressive plot & extremely toxic male lead of Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi, with the hope that we will eventually get to see a message, that there will be a twist in the story that will live up to the expectations we have from the writer.

Should Mehek have gone out to meet Shamsher or should she have simply ignored him?
Sadly Ahsan turned out to be a weakling, not helping out Mehek when she really needed him. Seems like woh sirf baray baray claims he ker sukta hai.
Chachi jaan ki insensitivity reaches extreme levels, accusing Mehek of knowing Shamsher, spreading the news and blasting her parents that Mehek went with him on her own accord. She’s probably a great representation of the ugly face of the society we often see around us.
Shamsher is an extremely toxic, obsessive, and controlling character. Is there a past history for his behaviour? It is with great apprehension that we wait and see the story unfold wondering how a character like him can be given redemption? If Mehek falls for him, can we ever justify that? Is he a hero or a negative character? We have our fingers crossed.
