The ‘Batman‘ sequel aka The Batman 2 has officially been announced as part of Warner Bros. and DC’s presentation at CinemaCon 2022, but fans aren’t happy!
The film ‘Batman’ was released on 4th March 2022 and it received an overwhelming response from DC fans all over the world! It went up to collecting $770.8 million worldwide and has been declared as one of the biggest Hit films of 2022. Though, it has only been a few months since Batman released, fans are already eyeing for a sequel. Well, their wishes were heard and producer Dylan Clark confirmed recently that the sequel is in the making! What’s more is that it has already been confirmed that Robert Pattinson will once again don his Batman cape and writer and director Matt Reeves will also be back to work on the movie.
However, fans weren’t overjoyed hearing the news as Dylan Clark also revealed that the film will be released in “less than five years”. This dismayed the fans who think the wait is too long.
The fans lashed out on Twitter and expressed how heartbroken they were hearing the news. 5 years is along time, even for a DC fan! Imagine waiting to experience the watch in your teens but you’re well past it for a 16 something year old who waits 5 years for the movie to hit cinemas. Scroll down to see the fan reaction:

No, The Batman 2 is not going to take 5 years. Dylan Clark (co producer with Matt Reeves) was asked when the sequel would come out, because the first movie took almost 5 years (covid delays) he jokingly said less than 5 years this time
