Recently, Hadiqa Kiani & FUCHSIA indulged in a conversation about the recent floods in Pakistan and her relief efforts in the flood-stricken areas. Take a look at the conversation below.

Hadiqa Kiani Shares A Story From Balochistan
“Aik aurat pregnant thi or uski pregnancy (delivery) ka time aagaya. Ab paani hai or rastay kharab hein tou uska husband usko rerhi pay dalkay lekay chal para. Dhai ghantay wo zinda rahi hai us reri par, wo tarap tarap ke mari hai rastay mein. Both the lady and her child died”
Hadiqa Kiani
She narrated an incident where a pregnancy woman succumbed to death because she couldn’t reach the hospital on time due to the water-ridden areas.
She Gave An Insight Into The Situation Of Flood-Affectees
“Meri takleef tou kuch bhi nahi hai, jo takleef wo log wahan seh rahay hein. Hum tou wahan jakay dekh kay ajaty hein magar jo wahan par log hein unkay paon mein jootay nahi hai. Mein tou bachon kay paon bhi dekh rahi thi kay wo kya hochukay hein. Saanp nay buhat logon ko kata hua hai”
Hadiqa Kiani
She spoke about how the people over there are deprived of shoes and bitten by snakes, especially small children.
Hadiqa Appeals For Tax Exemption On Houses To Be Rebuilt Due To Floods
“In gharon kay upar tax bhi lagraha hai, 7 percent tax tou meri appeal hai government say kay wo humein exempt karein tax khas tor pay jo genuinely kaam kar rahay hein, mein jakay dekhaongi,l ogon ko aik aik ghar jakay dekhaongi. 5 crore kay upar almost 7% banta hai 35 lakh. Ab agar 250 ka aik ghar banta hai tou 35 mein almost 17 ban hi jayeingay. Hum kitnay saray logon ko advantage dey saktay hein, meri dil say appeal hai government say”
Hadiqa Kiani
She urges everyone to appeal to the government about exempting the tax on house construction as there is a need for more houses to be rebuilt in flood-hit areas.
