Last night in Dubai it was a star-studded affair at the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night 2022. The event bought together some of the biggest names in the film industry from both sides of the border.
Leading actors from the Pakistani Film fraternity, Sajal Aly, Fahad Mustafa and Humayun Saeed were amongst the honorees of the night. The Pakistani actors were also seen mingling with their Indian contempories including Jahnvi Kapoor, Ranveer Singh And Govinda.

Heartiest Congratulations to Sajal Aly. She is, undoubtedly, the one Pakistani actor who receives limitless love from both India & Pakistan. Her fans embrace each character she plays with all the heart & soul she puts into her work, and it shows!

Fahad Mustafa Wins “The Promisng Star Of Pakistan”
Last night we found out who inspired our very own Actor in Law! Fahad Mustafa was presented with the Promising Star of Pakistan award. In his award acceptance speech, Fahad confessed that Govinda was the inspiration behind his career as an actor.
Addressing the legendary Bollywood actor, Fahad shared, “Sir, we are your fans. And I started acting because of you. Aur hume Pakistan mein aesa lagta tha ki jo bhi acting karni hai woh aapke jaese karni hai. Phir Ranveer agaye, phir (Sir, we are your fans. We think in Pakistan that whatever acting has to be done, should be done like yours). Then Ranveer (Singh) came, and then.. (laughing).”
Fahad also hoped that Pakistani and Indian actors get to work together once again.
Humayun Saeed Wins “Trendsetter Of Pakistani Cinema”
Humayun Saaed has been making waves all around the globe! From a versatile actor to an acclaimed producer and now landing a historic role as Dr Hasnat Khan in The Crown, Humayun Saeed can really do it all!
He thanked Filmfare for inviting him to the ceremony.
“I have been working [in the entertainment industry] for the last 25 years and you have still been tolerating me which is a huge achievement,” he smiled while addressing the audience.
He thanked everyone at the gathering for showing him “tremendous affection” while acknowledging the support of his family.
