In a heartening move to commemorate International Women’s Day, the makers of Taxali Gate have announced special free screenings for women across Pakistan.

In a recent social media announcement, the creators of Taxali Gate expressed their appreciation, stating, “You work hard every day — it’s time for you to relax and watch your favorite movie that coincidentally talks about your rights.” This act of recognition signifies a small yet meaningful token of gratitude towards the women of Pakistan who continually support the film industry in various ways.
The special screenings are set to take place on March 8th at different Cinepax locations across major cities in Pakistan. In Karachi, women can head to Cinepax, Ocean Mall for a complimentary show at 7:30 pm. In Islamabad, the free screening will be at Cinepax Jinnah Park, Rawalpindi at 6:30 pm. Meanwhile, Lahore residents can enjoy a free show at Cinepax Packages Mall at 7:45 pm.
