There’s something incredibly comforting about a love story that doesn’t rely on grand gestures, flashy romance, or over-the-top drama. Sometimes, all it takes is two people who look genuinely happy in each other’s company – and Aap Ki Izzat seems to be bringing exactly that.
The first promo of Aap Ki Izzat has finally dropped, and it already has us invested in Tabish and Beena’s sweet, old-school romance.
With Ahsan Khan playing the character of Tabish and Urwa Hocane portraying Beena, the two look absolutely adorable together. They have such easy chemistry, perfect screen presence and the moment you see them together, you can’t help but want to be rooting for them. There is something innocent about the way they look at each other – something like a love story where looks and emotions do all the word without saying much.
Love in all its purity has been captured in this promo. The promo has this classic feel, where emotions rule everything, and every action becomes so sincere. If the first look is anything to go by, Tabish and Beena are going to become this couple whom everyone would want to root for each week.
But, of course, no classic romance is complete without a few hurdles.
Here comes Sania Saeed, who seems to be acting like a stern mother-in-law, and she leaves absolutely no room for any misunderstanding regarding her position. In one of the promo’s most striking moments, she firmly tells Beena not to try and take her son away from her because that’s simply not going to happen. The possessiveness, the authority, and the emotional tension are all there, setting the stage for what promises to be an engaging family dynamic.
And let us say, if anyone can portray an overprotective saas in a good way, it is surely Sania Saeed. Her screen presence sets the level high, and we are interested to see how the relationship between Beena and her future mother-in-law unfolds.
Of course, one expects great substance from Umera Ahmed’s story. She is famous for her talent to create complex characters and relations that will stick in mind long after the credits roll. Together with Saife Hasan, who always gives his projects reality and emotion, Aap Ki Izzat definitely looks promising.
One thing is certain for now – that we’re already pulling for Tabish and Beena. One can only hope that their vintage style romance survives all the challenges that come their way.
