Actors Of The Week – The roundup of actors who impressed us with their performances. Savera Nadeem, Bakhtawar Mazhar & more. Catch up here.

1. Danish Taimoor as Sher Zaman in Sher
A powerful performance by Danish Taimoor as Sher Zaman, portraying the confusion, panic, and aggression simmering inside the character. His eyes plead silently, revealing the raw emotion he is feeling.
2. Samar Jafri as Wali in Parwarish
What a heartbreaking performance. Wali is completely shattered by his father’s cold, emotionless behaviour, and Samar Jafri captures that pain brilliantly. We love how his anger always hovers just below the surface — it flares briefly but never spirals out of control. This controlled yet impactful performance truly stands out.
3. Bakhtawar Mazhar as Maya’s Mother in Parwarish
Bakhtawar Mazhar beautifully conveys the panic, stress, and guilt of hiding Maya’s meeting with Wali. Her portrayal is graceful and deeply realistic — the emotional tug-of-war a woman might feel as a mother, a wife, and someone caught in between. Her dilemma and indecision feel painfully authentic.
4. Naumaan Ijaz as Jehangir in Parwarish
An incredible performance. The way Noman Ejaz expresses Jehangir’s coldness and refusal to let go of his ego — especially in the scene where he avoids meeting Wali — is utterly heartbreaking. His emotionless eyes say everything. As always, Noman Ejaz disappears into his role so completely, we don’t see the actor — only the character.
5. Sawera Nadeem as Mahnoor in Parwarish
When Mahnoor discovers Aniya’s self-harm videos, Sawera Nadeem delivers a stunningly realistic and relatable portrayal of a mother’s shock and panic. Her performance deeply resonates with viewers, especially mothers watching the show.
6. Aryan Sheikh as Shani in Dastak
Child actor Aryan is doing a remarkable job as Shani. His protective instincts toward his younger sister, and the cautious way he approaches Feroze, are portrayed with impressive sensitivity and nuance.
