1. Farhan Saeed as Farhad in Shirin Farhad
Absolutely loved Farhan Saeed as Farhad. It was through his performance that we were able to connect with Farhad’s passion and drive to do what he loved. From his expressions, tone and body language to his styling; every detail delivered clear image of Farhad in our mind. Also, he teleported us into the nostalgic era of Pakistani films.
2. Kinza Hashmi as Shirin in Shirin Farhad
A heart-winning performance which showed a girl stuck between her own feelings, her father’s dreams and her mother’s reservations. Loved her wardrobe. Kinza showed the many sides of Shirin – from being light-hearted to sensitive, to the sharp young girl who knew exactly what to say to the director.
3. Rashid Farooqi as Master Saifuddin in Shirin Farhad
What an awesome performance. Rashid Farooqi wins us with this character drawing the Tailor Master’s character even closer to our hearts.
4. Samar Jafri as Wali in Parwarish
From being angry at Anya, rebelling against his father, bromancing with Sameer to just finding peace with Maya, Samar delivered a mention-worthy performance in every scene. What is noticeable is how his portrayal of each aspect of Wali is unique in each scene.
5. Abul Hassan as Sameer in Parwarish
Loving the energy and fun side of Sameer thanks to a natural portrayal of the character by Abul Hassan. Abul’s performance is seamless as Sameer and we look forward to seeing him in more projects very soon.
6. Nooray Zeeshan as Anya in Parwarish
Good depiction of Anya’s confused, anxious, guilty and stressful self by Nooray. She is also depicting a range of emotions in various scenes and we are liking that.
7. Ahsan Khan as Zawar Shah in Dayan
Ahsan delivers a great performance as Zawar. He seems comfortable in the character, and you can only think of him as Zawar. He balances the multiple emotions and conflicts of Zawar in an interesting manner without making him an arrogant or vain person, but instead, portraying his positives in a real-feel depiction.
8. Ali Raza as Moiz in Dastak
Ali Raza is able to slip into and perform every character he picks with utmost ease and finesse. Moiz is winning us and making us all feel bad for him, all thanks to just the right portrayal.
9. Sohai Ali Abro as Baggi in Faraar
Loving how Sohai is presenting the dilemma, the emotional turmoil and the strength of Baggi in such an endearing way. Despite everything that Baggi has gone through, Sohai manages to keep Baggi’s human side alive and intact.
Hamza Ali Abbasi as Batish in Faraar
An impressive and heart-winning performance by Hamza Ali Abbasi, as we finally see Batish letting go of his emotions and finally breaking down. He can connect with the audience at an emotional level and allow them to be part of his journey.
