Actors Who Impressed Us This Week from Saba Qamar, Zahid Ahmed and more! Read ahead to find out all those who made it!

1. Atif Aslam as Hilmand in Sang E Mah

Hilmand’s pain, his mehroomi and complex about his parent, the fragile state of his mind was portrayed brilliantly by Atif Aslam making us all feel for Hilmand.
2. Saba Qamar as Maya in Fraud

Ah what a heart breaking scene it was. Saba’s performance made us feel for her, how she had lost everything and more importantly, the loss of self-respect and trust which she might never be able to get back again. We appreciate that the performance was delivered believably, not overdone, in fact handled with great sensitivity.
3. Hania Aamir as Hala in Mere Humsafar

Hala kay badaltay emotions, as life throws challenges at her and then Hamza kay saath per yakeen aur itmenaan – Hania reflects all these emotions in an endearing manner that makes us shed a tear and then, smile with her.
4. Kubra Khan as Shehrezade in Sang E Mah

What a gently subtle yet so very passionate performance by Kubra depicting Shehrezade’s love and care for Hilmand, and her desire to just wipe away all his pain. Kubra jee we are still in the magic of the line: “ Shehrezade ki kahani mein Hilmand ki picture legay gi”.
5. Hiba Bukhari as Cookie in Pehchaan

Hiba Bukhari’s performance as Cookie deserves a shout out! She portrayed anger, disappointment, loss, and the intensity of dukh that Cookie is undergoing merely through her eyes and facial expressions. With the support of hardly any dialogues, she made us feel the strength of a woman who had lost everything yet summoned monumental courage to take a life-changing decision.
6. Sawera Nadeem as Rukhsana in Wehem

A great performance which demonstrates the greyness of Rukhsana. It also kept us wondering as to how innocent she really is. Loved how initially, Sawera Nadeem kept it subtle to throw us double shades that something was off about Rukhsana but didn’t give away her true personality.
7. Zara Noor Abbas as Jehan Ara in Badshah Begum

Badshah Begum’s transition to someone more in control of her position, her changing priorities and lessons learnt from life were well depicted by Zara Noor Abbas. We can see how Jehan Ara has now transformed into a more determined and sharp person.
8. Sonya Hussyn As Rohi In Mor Moharan

Zabardast performance by Sonya as Rohi challenges Gardezi & refuses to be intimidated by him, in fact, throws him a warning. We loved the swag of Rohi as she informs Gardezi of her significance.
9. Zahid Ahmed as Ahmed Gardezi in Mor Moharan

The fury that Ahmed Gardezi tries to suppress, his wonder mixed with irritation was brilliantly portrayed by Zahid Ahmed making us love his interaction with Rohi.
