1. Atif Aslam as Hilmand in Sang e Mah
Atif’s portrayal of pain, shock & feeling of betrayal that Hilmand felt towards Marjaan & then his regret at unknowingly hurting Hikmet was very impactful.
2. Sania Saeed as Zarghuna in Sang e Mah
Sania jee you are so poetic in your depiction of the softer & more calculated side of Zarghuna. Dil jeet leteen hain aap her bar when you appear on screen, making us so emotional as we see Zarghuna trying to find a solution to preserve her daughter’s honour & happiness.
3. Kubra Khan as Mahjabeen in Sinf-e-Aahan
Such an endearing performance as Kubra shows Mahjabeen’s journey of growth thanks to the PMA training. You can’t help but feel warmth for her character. Her acceptance & guilt at calling Rabia bipolar was also very well played.
4. Hania Aamir as Hala in Mere Humsafar
Unlike the majority of crying or sad characters, that test your patience, Hania has portrayed Hala beautifully, she makes you cry with her, feel her hopelessness & her need to just be loved & accepted.
5. Yasir Hussain as Qaiser in Badshah Begum
Yasir makes you feel the terror, the dread & ruthlessness of Qaiser’s character without indulging in an act of extreme blood or violence in the scenes. Appreciation for this impactful performance.
6. Aymen Saleem as Aliya in Ibn-e-Hawa
Lovely to see Aymen brightening up our screens with her energetic & bubbly performance. She makes you laugh and delivers her dialogues in a natural flow with great comic timing.
7. Talha Chahour as Captain Farrukh in Jo Bichar Gaye
Talha deserves a special mention. Through Captain Farrukh, he showed us the feelings, intense emotions & turmoil an army officer experiences. What a beautiful & heart touching performance that connects with your heart immediately & brings tears to your eyes.
8. Maya Ali as Sonia in Jo Bichar Gaye
Maya jee you made us scared for Sonia in the hospital. We felt her helplessness & dilemma in choosing between her father & mother… you just nailed this episode with a performance that spoke to the viewers.
9. Farhan Saeed as Hamza in Mere Humsafar
The hero we all dream of, the saviour we all want! Well, Farhan Saeed has given all the girls just the character which is more realistic & relatable in today’s world.
10. Abul Hassan as Murad in Badshah Begum
Though Murad has less screen time yet Abul Hassan is doing an impressive job and despite the brief appearances, you cannot miss or forget his scenes or presence in the drama.
11. Feroze Khan as Mustajab in Aye Musht E Khaak
Such a heart winning performance from Feroze as he depicts Mustajab’s feelings & reaction on reciting the kalma with the Imaam sahib. He made us all revisit our own faith in Allah at that moment.
12. Saman Ansari as Hakim Be in Badshah Begum
Such a treat to watch Saman jee as Badshah Begum. It is impressive to note how subtly yet impactfully she has created an aura of terror & ruthlessness in her character.
