Here are all those who made it to this week’s list of Actors Who Impressed. From Yumna Zaidi, Feroze Khan and other. Spot your favorite.

1. Yumna Zaidi as Shaista in Sinfe-e-Aahan

Shaista is spontaneous, a bit funny, respectful and then so honest. Yumna did an amazing job conveying multiple emotions in a single scene & within a few minutes. She communicated some very pertinent and thought provoking ideas in an instant!
2. Zara Noor Abbas in Badshah Begum

Loved how Zara depicted the conflicting emotions and most importantly, inner panic of Jahan Ara, which made us experience a journey of emotions as well. From attempting to control her feelings with Bakhtiar to owning up to her position as Badshah Begum, Zara was fabulous in her portrayal of Jahan Ara.
3. Kubra Khan as Sheherezade in Sang-E-Mah

The subtle yet firm and impactful Shehrezade was a pleasure to watch. We got to witness the strength of a woman without her resorting to violence or exaggerated expressions. Appreciation for Kubra for making us feel for Shehrezade yet respect her at the same-time.
4. Feroze Khan as Mustajab in Aye Musht-e-Khaak

A huge round of applause for Feroze Khan for winning our hearts as we witness Mustajab’s transition. It was both endearing & emotional with many thought provoking messages. Feroze Khan has created a special place for Mustajab in our hearts.
5. Usama Khan as Affan in Dobara

Impressive and emotional performance by Usama Khan as Affan which, for the first time, made us really feel for him. Usama seemed to have stepped out of his comfort zone and really own the scene. It seemed to have come from dil sey. The beauty of the performance was his focus on Affan’s guilt, not Affan’s emotional aggression.
6. Daniyal Afzal Khan as Taqi in Aye Musht-e-Khaak

Danyal evoked sympathy & respect for viewers by giving us a character that treats a woman with respect above all else. We felt Taqi’s heartbreak yet also appreciated his ability to let go of what & whom he wanted with all his heart with a dignity that spoke volumes.
7.Muhammad Ahmed as Dadoo Handsome in Hum Tum

So refreshing to see Muhammad Ahmed sahib in this role. Love how he delivers both the comic lines and the sarcastic dialogues with an ease and flow that is making us love Dadoo Handsome.
8. Naveen Waqar as Mehreen in Paristan

Loving how Mehreen makes us smile despite her evil planning. It is nice to see her in a different role after a long time. She is a natural when it comes to delivering comic lines. Her expressions, dialogues, body language, dressing compliment her entirely.
9. Sami Khan as Bunty in Chaudhry & Sons

Bunty is chalak but he still wins your heart. That is how endearing Sami Khan’s performance is. Love how Sami, despite being so young, delivers his lines with ease, without making his character and expressions seem loud.
10. Sohail Ahmed as Dada Jee in Chaudhry & Sons

It is so nice to see Sohail Sahib back on screen and he is totally winning our hearts with a Dada jee who has a fun side, a sadness about him because of the daughter he lost… and an unconditional love for his grandchildren. And let’s not forget how he favours Nimmo. Sohail sahib, you are rocking this role.
