Great news for Pakistan! Mahira Khan and Bilal Ashraf starrer ‘Aik Hai Nigar’ has bagged the ‘Best Asian Film Award’ at Septimius Awards!

Aik Hai Nigar Wins Big!
The telefilm had Mahira Khan, playing Nigar Johar, and Bilal Ashraf playing her husband, Johar Ali Khan in the lead. Their onscreen chemistry and the honesty with which both of the actors played their characters were greatly appreciated.
Aik Hai Nigar follows the extraordinary life of Major General Nigar Johar. The telefilm beautifully captured her life journey, her achievements, losses, and the drive to move forward and upwards regardless of the ordeals she had to face in her personal life. The story takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions, it tugs at your heartstrings and leaves you feeling hopeful at the end. As the cliche saying goes, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel, and Aik Hai Nigar shows us just that. Life is hard, but you need to keep walking till you reach the end of the dark tunnel.
Lieutenant General Nigar Johar is a three-star general in the Pakistan army. She made history by becoming the first female in the Pakistan Army to achieve the rank of Lieutenant General.
