Amanat brings us a fast-paced and interesting plot, with two stories running parallel that will soon be crossing each other. The drama stars Urwa as Mehar and Imraan abbas as Zarrar. Amanat’s first two episodes are kind of a roller coaster ride that can either excite you or make your head spin with confusion.

Amanat Bring Us A Star-studded Cast!
It is nice to see Imran Abbas back on screen after some time and we can’t wait to see how Zarrar’s character arc will develop. Urwa as Mehar is an orphan raised by her chacha and is forced to marry her mentally challenged cousin. Her aunt, in heroic style, helps her escape but we await the next episode to find out if Mehar made it!
Saboor in Zuni’s role could have been better directed to play it more subtly. But maybe the script is establishing her personality to justify her actions in the coming episodes or they are a reflection of how her parents have spoilt her? We will wait for an update in the storyline.

But Zuni does test your patience, which is sad, as it would have been nice to see a romantic relationship between Zaraar and Zuni without her being so overbearing.
So Far, So Good
So far, the story seems to be about four characters who are about to enter into a watta satta marriage and one couple’s relationship takes a toll on all of them. Mehar will change the game plan unintentionally and we are curious to find out what happens next.
