In a tragic incident yesterday, Indian singer Sidhu Moose Wala of the widely popular song ‘Same Beef’ was gunned down in the Mansa district of Punjab, India. He was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately breathed his last during treatment. His death came as a shock not only to Indians but also to Pakistanis who were extremely fond of his music.
For those who are unaware, Sidhu Moose Wala was famous for his Punjabi songs, particularly ‘Same Beef’, ‘Jatt Da Muqabala’, ‘295’, and ‘Last Ride’, among others.
Along with fans, Bollywood celebrities were also deeply saddened by Sidhu Moose Wala’s demise and offered their condolences on social media.

A video clip of one of his concerts is going viral where he was promised a huge crowd (that included Pakistanis) that he would come to Pakistan at the end of this year, first to Lahore and then to Islamabad. Pakistani fans are expressing immense grief as his music was hugely popular, especially amongst the youth.

The culprits have taken responsibility for his murder. The investigation is ongoing and we hope Sidhu Moose Wala and his family get the justice they deserve.
