Bollywood star Salman Khan has received a fresh death threat via WhatsApp, warning of a bomb attack at his residence, Galaxy Apartments.

Salman Khan has reportedly received yet another death threat, this time through a WhatsApp message sent to Mumbai’s Transport Department office located in Worli. According to sources, the alarming message warned of a planned murder attempt on Khan, claiming that the perpetrators would infiltrate his residence- the infamous Galaxy Apartments and detonate a bomb in his car.
The threat has sparked serious concern among authorities, prompting an immediate action. A formal case has been registered at the Worli Police Station against unidentified individuals. Law enforcement agencies have launched a thorough investigation to track down the source of the message and punish those involved. This incident has led to increased security outside Salman’s residence,
This isn’t the first time Salman Khan has been targeted. The actor has faced multiple threats in the past years, which have led to heightened security measures around him. The latest incident underscores the continued risk to his safety and the urgency for law enforcement to bring the culprits to justice.
Actor Faces Years of Threats Tied to Blackbuck Case
Salman Khan has been at the center of a series of consistent and alarming threats over the past several years, many of which have been linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The gang is reportedly targeting the actor due to his alleged involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case—a matter that holds deep religious importance for the Bishnoi community, which considers the blackbuck a sacred animal.
The threats have escalated in both frequency and intensity. In 2024, Khan received a chilling ultimatum from the Bishnoi gang, demanding that he either visit a temple and publicly apologise for the alleged killing or pay a hefty sum of 5 crore. Later that same year, on October 30, he was again threatened by an unidentified individual, who demanded a ransom of 2 crore.
The actor’s safety was further jeopardized in 2024 when two unidentified men attempted to infiltrate his farmhouse in Panvel by using forged identification documents. Although they were stopped, the incident raised serious concerns about his security.
The threats are not limited to recent years. In 2023, an email believed to have been sent by notorious gangster Goldy Brar warned of potential danger to Khan’s life. A year earlier, in 2022, a handwritten letter containing a death threat was discovered on a bench near his Bandra residence, Galaxy Apartments—just steps away from his home.
These repeated threats have forced law enforcement agencies to heighten Salman Khan’s security on many occasions. His security status has been upgraded several times, including the deployment of armed guards and additional surveillance around his home and during public appearances.
Authorities continue to investigate the origins and motives behind these threats, particularly the alleged involvement of organised crime syndicates, while efforts to ensure Khan’s safety remain a top priority for Mumbai Police.
Salman Khan was last seen in Sikandar released on Eid ul Fitr 2025.
